During 2023-2024, NHB was entrusted with the installation of the comprehensive smoke ventilation system for the S4 Kings Cross project, led by the main contractor, Crownhouse.

This project encompassed two blocks and an extensive basement, featuring 13 floors of luxury apartments and 9 floors of social housing. Our scope of work included the installation of:

• 38 environmental dampers
• 38 smoke dampers (camo doors)
• 15 Control panels
• AOVs
• Fan sets
• Pressure sensor systems

Additionally, we installed various other components, such as temperature sensors and fire override switches etc.
