Project Summary for NHB Electrical’s Role in Extraction Systems and Fire-Rated Ductwork at 250 City Road

NHB Electrical is a key partner in the transformation of 250 City Road, a prominent mixed-use development between Angel and Old Street Stations. This project, led by Berkeley Group and designed by Foster + Partners, is reshaping a former 1980s business park into a vibrant, high-density residential and commercial community, including residential towers of 42 and 36 stories, retail and office space, a hotel, and extensive leisure amenities.

Our involvement focuses on the design and installation of advanced extraction systems and fire-rated ductwork on the building’s rooftops. These installations are essential for maintaining safe, efficient airflow and ensuring fire safety in a high-rise environment, particularly in light of the project’s large residential and commercial volumes.
